Artist background and inspiration
Feminism, femininity, and the treatment of women in society are at the core of my artistic perspective. My work often explores themes such as abortion rights, equality, and the societal roles of women. Animals and nature are recurring elements in my paintings, symbolizing the intrinsic connection between femininity and the natural world. Each plant or animal is carefully chosen for its symbolic meaning, reinforcing the painting's central theme.
I draw inspiration from my own photography, old movies, and the timeless beauty of 16th-18th century paintings. At a time when beauty is often underrepresented in the art world, I strive to reintroduce it while delivering powerful, thought-provoking messages through layered symbolism.
Self-taught during the COVID pandemic, I continuously challenge myself to push creative boundaries. Each piece represents a step toward bigger, bolder, and more intricate compositions, with the aim of creating art that is as technically demanding as it is conceptually impactful.
